Your first reaction
Note to self: whenever you feel you're getting angry or frustrated about something, and someone asks you to share your thoughts, it is almost never a good idea to straight up voice your opinion.
But you don’t want to lie either. So two things I came up with (after I messed up): first, I can always ask questions to learn more when I detect that I’m angry or frustrated about something. This allows me to think through what a good, balanced response would be. The second one: I could tell the other person that I value and respect them and that at the same time I just want to take a little time to think about the issue at hand.
