We all like to hear our own talking points (says the guy who is sending out a daily newsletter based on his own thoughts). Reality is, there is a huge difference in your learning curve when you spend your time listening, compared to spending it talking. Talking could even be a bad habit.
Repeating your own point of view is easy. Trying to wrap your head around someone else’s ideas requires lots of energy and focus.
Want to learn new things? Stop talking and listen. It will be hard work, but it will be worth it.
