We all like to hear our own talking points (says the guy who is sending out a daily newsletter based on his own thoughts). Reality is, there is a huge difference in your learning curve when you spend your time listening, compared to spending it talking. Talking could even be a bad habit.

Repeating your own point of view is easy. Trying to wrap your head around someone else’s ideas requires lots of energy and focus.
