Public speaking: tell stories
Traditionally, we (I’m talking about us as humans) have been transferring lessons through stories. They work well, because we can actually relate to stories. It is hard to feel something if it’s just facts. Stories help to bring life to facts. And think back about the speeches that really made an impact: it made you realize something and it probably triggered some kind of emotion.
Try to weave in stories whenever you can, to repeat the point you’re trying to make and to connect ideas to reality. It can help you start off well, it can help you make a major point and can help you to finish strong.
