Found this quote somewhere:

The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.

So true. In order to do bigger things, you have to take the leap into an unknown void. Do things that others view as impossible or impractical.

In one of his essays, Paul Graham talks about doing things that donโ€™t scale. With that he means that one way to be successful is to be bold enough to try the things that others view as really stupid. Because everybody thinks that, there's opportunity.

This does not only count for businesses, but also for your personal life: discovering how far you can actually make it requires going out a little farther than you went before.
