Admit it if you’re wrong
If there is one thing I don’t do often enough and should do more, is admitting I’m wrong. Mostly what happens is that I realise that I could have done something different, without actually admitting to the people affected that I messed up.
There is an added positive effect, and that is that admitting something also sends a signal that you’ll improve next time. It keeps you accountable.
Scary, but absolutely worthwhile.
