Something executed well is never trouble
Most of us are always looking for shortcuts: it is ok to do a little less? Can we skip some parts for now? You might also recognize the feeling you have when you know that you could make it better by doing some specific thing, but you could also skip it and see where it lands. Unless you’re under a severe time constraint, doing something with extraordinary dedication and precision is almost never something you’ll regret later.
If you know you can improve something, make the extra time to actually do it. Push though the urge to jump to the next thing. It’ll be worth it.
