If you search for “good management is”, you’ll find around 343,000 mostly different results. There is certainly not a single correct answer here.

I recently read this quote: “Good management is to act in accordance to what we believe in”. This is not the only description of good management, but I do think this is a quite important one. I previously wrote about the goal of management, which is “deliver results”. But it is not just any result that matters, it need to be of importance. And good management is just that: to deliver something which is aligned with what you believe in or think is important.

To know if your management is good management, you have to really know yourself. You have to know what your priorities are and where you really believe in.
