Simplicity is something that can be applied to almost anything, and is actually really hard to achieve. It requires revisiting things you’re currently doing to keep digging for what is the absolute essence of what you’re trying to accomplish. This goes for your products, your goals, the processes you have in place, your habits, your home, basically everything.

Simplicity is not the absence of clutter, that's a consequence of simplicity. Simplicity is somehow essentially describing the purpose and place of an object and product. The absence of clutter is just a clutter-free product. That's not simple.
