Progress is progress
It’s pretty easy to confuse things to feel as progress when it is actually not. The other parts might be even necessary to get moving, be sure to know that is not actual progress.
I prepare these posts a week in advance. Before I get down to writing, I set up the list of the days and a template I use (no real progress). I’m looking at some numbers (procrastination). I’m reading a couple of blog posts or newsletters (call that research, no progress). The real progress comes from actually writing these posts.
Real progress means writing the actual code, diving in to the questions and start coming up with answers, start drawing the wireframes, cranking out designs.
Be sure to know if what you’re doing is helping you make real progress.
