One of the fastest ways to learn is by doing something you haven’t done before. You can read books, blogs and talk to people, but it will only take you so far. I learned so much from spending some time on a completely different project (you're enjoying one of them right now). It will help you in your day job, might open up new ideas and it gives you a blank canvas to try out things you normally need to run by a couple of people.

• Start a blog about a topic you care about
• Learn a little bit of Javascript and build a Chrome Extension
• Build a basic iPhone app (without programming experience)
• Start a webshop
• Launch a weekly mailinglist
• Learn to code and build a website or tool

I know it is just Wednesday, but this at least gives you enough time to come up with something to build this weekend!
