A couple of days ago I nudged a little about scheduling time for your yearly review.

This year will be the fourth time I'm doing a full review. The last three years I've been doing my craziest and biggest projects, and a lot of it can be attributed to scheduling a block of time to look back and making a plan for big things I wanted to do next. Can't recommend it enough. You could see it as a supersize weekly review.

In the coming days, I'll be taking apart each section which I'm tackling in my review.

Here's a rough outline:

  • Looking back
  • Areas of responsibility
  • Theme your quarters
  • Converting to actionable goals

I'm curious what your experience is with something like this. Let me know if you have any questions around doing a yearly review you like answered here.
