Last week, one of my posts was about the manager vs maker schedule. Makers need uninterrupted blocks of time to get things done.

At Blendle, we’re always looking for ways to improve ourselves and the way we work. One of the things we have experimented with and still enforce, is that it is not allowed for anyone to schedule a meeting with our developers on Tuesdays. Tuesdays are perfect days for this: energy is still high and fresh, everyone got rid of the Monday-urgent-stuff and there are still lots of other days left to get together for important meetings.

If you’re having lots of meetings scattered over the week, try introducing a no-meetings-Tuesday.
